Rex Ryan offers a surprising take on Browns QB Baker Mayfield in a new interview.
Ryan, 56, appeared on ESPN’s Get Up on Monday and blasted Cleveland’s passer as “overrated as hell.”
According to Ryan, the Browns’ disappointing 1-2 start to the year is in part due to Mayfield’s shortcomings.
“I bought into the hype, but not to the point where everybody is saying he’s going to be the league MVP,” Ryan added.

At this point it is difficult to identify what precisely has gone wrong with Cleveland.
The team seems to have all of the weapons necessary for success, yet they cannot put it together on the field.
Some say the problem is coaching – but others obviously believe it is more of a personnel issue.
Either way, Cleveland will have a chance to right the ship this weekend against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
