Reche Caldwell: Truth Behind His Death Revealed
Reche Caldwell was shot and killed in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday night. The former New England Patriots wide receiver was 41 years old.
Deborah Caldwell, his mother, confirmed the NFL star’s death to media one day later.
Caldwell started off his career as a star at Florida before playing for three teams in the NFL.
The circumstances surrounding his death are slowly coming to light.
According to multiple reports, Caldwell was leaving for a date with his girlfriend when he went back into his home for a jacket. At that point, he was reportedly “ambushed” by multiple people in what was described as a “targeted” attack.
Caldwell was reportedly hit in the leg and chest. He was rushed to the hospital, but died in the ambulance on the way.
Tampa police are continuing to investigate what precisely happened and what in particular led to Caldwell’s death.
