Tea Katai’s Husband Aleksandar Cut By Galaxy Over Comments
Tea Katai’s husband Aleksandar Katai was cut by the LA Galaxy over comments she made on social media this week.
Katai reportedly posted on social media this week suggesting that protesters be killed and referred to some as disgusting cattle, according to multiple reports.
In response, the Galaxy cut her husband from the team and subsequently released a statement condemning the sentiments made by her.

“The LA Galaxy have mutually agreed to part with midfielder Aleksander Katai,” the statement said.
The Galaxy also indicated that they “strongly condemned the social posts” made by Katai.
“The LA Galaxy stands firmly against racism of any kind, including that which suggests violence or seeks to demean the efforts of those in pursuit of racial equality,” the Galaxy said in a statement Wednesday.
“The LA Galaxy stand with communities of color, and especially the black community, in protests and fight against systemic racism, social inequality, bigotry and violence,” the statement continued.
“Now is the time to reflect on our role in helping fight racism in our community.”
It will be interesting to see where the Katai family goes from here.
