Ravens Issue Another Surprising Update On Lamar Jackson

The Ravens have issued another surprising update on Lamar Jackson.

Earlier this week John Harbaugh revealed that his team’s star quarterback had sustained a quad injury during Sunday’s game versus the Buffalo Bills.

Although Baltimore was happy to emerge from that game victorious, if it came at a cost to Jackson’s healthy the team would no doubt have preferred to lose instead.

On Monday Jackson’s name appeared on the injury report and Harbaugh danced around what his status would be for Thursday’s game against the New York Jets.

Fortunately, Jackson was able to return to action on Tuesday afternoon and seemed to be moving around with ease.

After the practice, Jackson met with the media and said that her was good to go for Thursday night.

“I feel great,” he said.

“I feel 100-percent. I’m going to be out there playing on Thursday night.

The Ravens are currently 11-2 through 13 games and are sitting comfortably atop the AFC.

At this point the team is more focused on making a deep playoff run than any sort of regular season success, so it would not be particularly surprising to see Harbaugh rest Jackson if they can get a good lead on the Jets early.
