Paul Finebaum Has Harsh Words Regarding Alabama vs Auburn

Paul Finebaum has harsh words regarding Alabama vs Auburn during a recent interview.

Speaking directly in regards to the College Football Playoff committee, Finebaum made it a point to note that they needed to recognize how difficult winning at Auburn actually is.

“I just think they have to win the game,” he said on ESPN’s Get Up!

“I just think the committee is smart enough, well, I hope they’re smart enough to know that winning at Auburn is a big deal. Alabama didn’t win their two years ago, they didn’t win their in 2013, the famous Kick Six game.”

Finebaum did not stop there, though.

“I don’t think this is a beauty contest,” Finebaum added.

“If they win the game, it shows that Mac Jones is capable. I don’t know if they move up ahead of Georgia. But they’re in position then to get in the Playoff.”

Willing a win versus Auburn ultimately be enough to secure Alabama a spot in the College Football Playoff?

Time will tell.
