Paul Finebaum Has Harsh Words For Oklahoma

Paul Finebaum has harsh words for Oklahoma after the College Football Playoff committee released its newest rankings.

After Oklahoma’s big 34-31 victory over undefeated Baylor, many began to suggest that there is postseason hope for the Sooners.

However, according to ESPN, all Baylor’s loss really means is that the Big 12 has zero shot at being represented in the college football playoff.

“I know I’m occasionally guilty of pronouncing people dead without having a medical license and taking (them) out before I should,” Finebaum said.

“I did that a couple weeks ago with Oregon, but I don’t think there’s any way the Big 12 makes the Playoff. They shouldn’t have lost to Kansas State.”

And Finebaum did not stop there.

“They shouldn’t have fallen behind, but even coming back they probably eliminated Baylor, which may have had a better path since they were unbeaten until last week,” he continued.

“Once again, bye bye Big 12, we’ll see you next year. Everybody wants to say the Big 12 is great, but if you look at Oklahoma’s resume, it’s not all that great.”

Is the Big 12 really going to be locked out of the postseason? Obviously anything can happen over the next few weeks – but it is certainly looking that way.
