Patriots Star Sparks Controversy Over High School Stripper Routine (Video)

A former New England Patriots star raised eyebrows recently with one particularly unfortunate turn of events.

Quentin Hines, who won a Super Bowl with Bill Belichick and Co. back in 2015, landed in hot water when he rented out a high school gym for a charity event related to one of his other businesses.

The school in question, Mt. Clemens High School in Mount Clemens, Michigan, was apparently one that Hines had used as a locale for his gatherings in the past.

What specifically left a bad taste in people’s mouths? A strip show that ended up occurring at the proceedings. The visuals speak for themselves:

According to Hines, he simply hired an entertainer for his event – he wasn’t aware anyone would undress.

“I don’t think she was a stripper,” he told Fox 2. “She was one of her dancers that was underdressed, and it’s unfortunate.

“I did not know that someone would come that underdressed to dance with him.”

This has obviously been something of a wild year in the NFL. Between Los Angeles Chargers fans getting frisky in the stands and referees openly cheating in full view of the cameras – no story should be surprising any more.

But somehow, this mess Hines landed himself into still caught folks off guard.

Will the former Patriots star be able to redeem himself at some point in the future?

Time will tell.
