Patrick Mahomes Reveals Where Tom Brady Will Go In 2020
Patrick Mahomes revealed where Tom Brady will go in 2020 during a recent interview.
Much like everyone else, the Super Bowl MVP is not 100 percent certain about Brady’s future. But he has a hunch.
According to Mahomes, the likeliest scenario for the six time Super Bowl champ remains him staying with the New England Patriots.
“I have no idea, just like everyone else,” Mahomes told CBS Sports.
“I haven’t been able to talk to him. He hit me up after the Super Bowl and congratulated me,” Mahomes continued.
“It’s hard to see him not being in a New England Patriots jersey but you never know. I’ll just kind of see when everyone else does.”
Brady has played for New England ever since the organization drafted him two decade ago. In that time he won six titles and solidified himself as arguably the greatest NFL quarterback of all time.
To date Brady has been linked to multiple potential suitors. The Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins have all been floated as potential landing spots for him.
Thus far, Brady has refused to tip his hand as to whether he will go to one of those aforementioned teams or remain with the Patriots.
During an Instagram Live with UFC head honcho Dana White, Brady acknowledged that he knew people were dying to know where he is going to go this offseason.
“I know it’s been a lot of patience for me, and obviously being where I’ve been for 20 years — it’s been an amazing experience,” he said.
“I don’t know what the future holds right now. I’m just trying to be patient through this process, it’s my first time going through it, and in the meantime I’m going to spend a lot of time with my family over the next 10, 12 days. We have a little vacation planned, which I’m looking forward to.”
Free agency officially kicks off in just a couple of weeks. At that point, Brady will presumably make a final decision on his future, and the rest of the NFL will respond accordingly.
