The picture showed Mahomes ready for action in an outfit she presumably helped him pick out.
The caption indicated this much.
In almost no time, the picture quickly went viral.
Matthews is one of Mahomes’ loudest and truest fans and will likely be very invested in the outcome Sunday’s showdown between the Chiefs and Texans.
With three quarters of action in the books, Kansas City is currently up 28-24.
This winner of this match-up will square off against the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game next weekend.
