Odell Beckham gives a special gift to LSU players ahead of their bowl game against Oklahoma.

Bowl season is full of exciting outings for all college football fans, but two stand apart from the rest: the opening round games of the College Football Playoff.

This year, No. 1 ranked LSU will take on No. 4 ranked Oklahoma and No. 2 ranked Ohio State will take on No. 3 ranked Clemson.

Beckham is a former LSU star, and as such he wanted to provide his former team with a fun gift before their opening round match-up.

On Wednesday, the LSU Football Twitter account revealed a special message from Beckham where he sent his holiday wishes and urged them to beat Oklahoma.

The message also revealed Beckham’s brand new Air Max 720 sneaker with LSU colors.

“What’s going on man, OBJ here,” he said.

“Just checking in. Wanted to say Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas. I got a little gift for y’all coming. Some 720s. So make sure you all enjoy. Handle your business.”

Beckham, a four-time Pro Bowler, has always been very proud of his LSU roots.

Will the Tigers ultimately be able to live up to expectations and make Beckham proud? We’ll find out once and for all come this Saturday.

  1. How is this not an obvious and flagrant violation of NCAA rules? OBJ is now a booster for LSU and boosters are not allowed to give players gifts. Does the SEC even care about trying to appear as if they don’t cheat or does cheating even matter anymore? Hell OBJ, why not just get the players blow-jobs from local prostitutes so they can be relaxed before the games. I’m sure that’s cool with the NCAA. Jesus H Christ the SEC is so slimy…

    1. Ohio State got Beats by Dre headphones from LeBron James before thier game too. So it’s not just an SEC thing. And if it WERE illegal, do you think the video tweets would be put out by BOTH schools OFFICIAL Twitter Accts.?
