Notre Dame, Brian Kelly Make Big Coronavirus Decision

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly made a big coronavirus decision on Thursday morning.

In light of multiple sports leagues and associations cancelling their events due to the worldwide pandemic, the Fighting Irish responded in similar fashion.

According to Kelly, Spring football has officially been suspended as of today.

“I have asked our student-athletes not to return to campus until further notice,” he said.

“With our student-athletes’ health and well-being at the forefront of our decision making, and given the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, this is best for all members of the Notre Dame Football Family.”

This move comes on the heels of all the college basketball conference tournaments that were scheduled for the coming week getting called off.
