Titans Issue Derrick Henry Health Update Before Chiefs Game
The Titans issued a Derrick Henry health update before the Chiefs game this weekend.
Henry has been the single most important part of Tennessee’s improbable postseason run up to this point. As such, having him at 100 percent is absolutely vital to the Titans if they want any shot at upsetting Kansas City.
Fortunately, 100 percent is precisely where Henry’s at right now.
On Thursday, footage was released of Henry at practice going full strength in a series of drills. Between his speed, stiff arming and general movement, it is clear that he is totally healthy heading into Sunday’s outing.

Henry is currently having a career year. In the regular season he led the league in rushing with 303 carries for 1,530 yards and 16 scores. He then kept the momentum going in the postseason with back-to-back dominant showings against the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.
In the Patriots game Henry amassed 182 yards and ran the ball 34 times. Against the Ravens he recorded 195 yards on 30 carries.
If Tennessee wants to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs this weekend, the team will need a similar Herculean effort out of their star running back.
