Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs Practice With Eyes Closed For Super Bowl
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs practice with their eyes closed for the Super Bowl, apparently.
Just a few days removed from Super Bowl LIV, various members of the Kansas City roster were doing media rounds when it was revealed that closed-eyes practices were a thing.
Apparently Mahomes instructs his wide receivers to run routes with their eyes closed so that he can practice his accuracy.
He does not want the receivers adjusting for poor throws, and he ensures that does not happen by having them not see the ball coming.
This weekend, Mahomes’ Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The winner will ultimately win a championship.
The Niners boast arguably the most well-balanced and complete defense in the entire NFL, so Mahomes will need use every trick up his sleeve to get the job done against them.
Will Mahomes and the Chiefs ultimately be able to emerge victorious against San Francisco’s tough defense?
We’ll find out once and for all this weekend.
Super Bowl LIV takes place in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, February 2.
