Golf influencer Paige Spiranac is known for her hot takes on social media. Due in large part to her massive following eating up pretty much any content she puts out, the 27-year-old often offers her thoughts on a variety of sports-related topics.
The trend continued on Sunday, when Spiranac took aim at Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Entering the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh found itself down 24-14 to the Indianapolis Colts. Roethlisberger’s play up to that point was not stellar, and Spiranac decided to point it out.
“Big Ben missing one key aspect of being a QB and that’s being able to throw a football,” she tweeted.

Shortly after Spiranac posted her message, Roethlisberger went absolutely supernova and guided his squad back to a 28-24 victory.

After the fact, Spiranac owned up to her mistake.
“I take it back,” she tweeted shortly thereafter.

Based on how it ultimately ended up working out, the Steelers should probably fly Spiranac out and have her offer her commentary during each of the remaining games.
