Tom Brady’s Special Birthday Message For LeBron James
Tom Brady’s Special Birthday Message For LeBron James
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has made it no secret over the years that he has a deep appreciation for LeBron James.
This week, as James celebrated his 36th birthday, Brady took a moment to once again pay his respects to one of the greatest basketball players to ever live (and soon-to-be member of the Athlete Billionaire Club).
“Happy Birthday @KingJames, 18 years strong here’s to many more…keep going,” he tweeted.

So far this year, despite an abbreviated offseason due to the Los Angeles Lakers’ championship run, James is averaging 22.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. Clearly getting older isn’t slowing him down any. In fact, the Lakers are betting big on James continuing at this pace until they can add Bronny James to the roster.
“I train my body for a marathon,” James said.
“I’m not your typical guy that’s in his 18th season,” James said. “I try to show it to you guys over and over and over.”
That said, James can still take a moment to appreciate how hard he has worked to get to this point.
“Coming from where I come from, a lot of people don’t even make it past 21,” James said.
“For me to be rounding the bases at 36 and playing the game I love to play and being with a great team and a great organization with a great family and great friends and a great support system, it makes this a lot greater than the alternative. Just very blessed. Very honored and happy to be doing what I love to do.”
Interestingly enough, a few days ago, James was the one sending kind words to Brady via Twitter.
After seeing the Bucs QB explode for 348 passing yards and four touchdowns against the Detroit Lions, James couldn’t help but show his admiration.

James continues to age like fine wine, much in the same way as Brady does. It will be interesting to see what the next few years hold, because neither man looks to be slowing down.
He got ditched by his girlfriend after going undrafted. Then he got the last laugh. https://t.co/1gBPyA45Ko
