Tom Brady Reveals His Status For 2020

Tom Brady revealed his status for 2020 in a new interview.

One of the most pressing issues in the NFL right now is what Brady will choose to do this summer.

As an unrestricted free agent, Brady holds all the cards. He could return to New England. He could leave and go elsewhere. Or, obviously, he could simply retire.

Although Brady has repeatedly said he does not want to retire yet, until he chooses his next team, all options are on the table.

During a recent interview with Jim Gray on Westwood One, Brady made it clear that he needs a little more time to make up his mind.

“The contract things, a week after the season, I would say these things haven’t even started to pick up,” he said.

“It’s really not my concern at this point. It’s been about decompressing and resting my mind a little bit and resting my body and spending time with the people who have supported me over the last six months.”

That is what TEAM is all about. In both life and football, failure is inevitable. You dont always win. You can, however, learn from that failure, pick yourself up with great enthusiasm, and place yourself in the arena again. And that’s right where you will find me. Because I know I still have more to prove.

The Patriots ended their 2019-20 season in disappointing fashion.

After being forced to play in the Wild Card round for the first time in a decade, Brady and Co. fell to the Tennessee Titans and got bounced from the playoffs.

Afterward, Brady provided a reflective comment on the defeat on Instagram.

“In both life and football, failure is inevitable,” he wrote.

“You don’t always win. You can, however, learn from that failure, pick yourself up with great enthusiasm, and place yourself in the arena again.

“And that’s right where you will find me. Because I know I still have more to prove.”

It is widely assumed that if Brady does opt to leave New England, he will likely join the Los Angeles Chargers. The future Hall of Famer is originally from California and it is generally believed his post-NFL career will take place in LA.
