Titans Reveal How They Will Stop Ravens, Lamar Jackson

The Titans revealed how they will stop the Ravens and Lamar Jackson.

Fresh off his team’s stunning upset victory against the New England Patriots, Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel has turned into one of the league’s bright stars.

Having toppled Tom Brady and the Patriots dynasty, Vrabel now has the unenviable task of facing off against No. 1 ranked Baltimore next weekend.

Aside from the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers, nobody has had much luck slowing Jackson down this year.

How does Vrabel plan to do the impossible? That is the question reporters pressed him with this week.

His response immediately went viral.

“Other than try and tie his shoelaces together?” he replied.

Jokes aside, Vrabel’s plan is likely similar to the one the Titans employed versus New England. He will attempt to dominate time of possession with the running game and try to slow the proceedings down.

Jackson and Baltimore can score in a hurry, so Vrabel will need to do everything in his power to reduce the pace of the game.

Will that be enough to really stop Jackson, though? Time will tell.

On the year, Jackson has thrown for 3,127 yards, run for 1,206 yards and recorded 43 touchdowns.

Needless to say, the Titans will have their hands full this weekend. Maybe tying Jackson’s shoelaces together isn’t such a bad idea after all.
