Paige Spiranac’s Reaction To Her Unfortunate Photo Leak
Paige Spiranac has spent the last few years cultivating her image as the most prominent golf influencer on the planet. Her success has spawned many a copycats who try to replicate her success, but ultimately fail to do so.
Part of what makes Spiranac so successful is her dedication to her craft. She nurtures her social media following carefully and precisely – giving her fans exactly the type of content that they are looking for.
That is a big part of why she has amassed 3.3 million followers on Instagram up to this point and why she’s such a star.
Of course, it hasn’t all been good times for Spiranac. She was also the victim of a particularly brutal photo leak that left her somewhat scarred to this day.
Not long ago, Spiranac opened up about the experience on her Playing-A-Round podcast.
“It was horrible, just getting these random messages from people you don’t know and they’ve seen you in such a vulnerable way. It was disgusting,” she said.
“When I finally confronted the guy and said, ‘I can’t believe you did this to me’, he said – and I’ll never forget this – ‘You are the sl*t who sent it to me, you deserve this.”
It didn’t stop there, though.
“I would wake up every single day, I would check my phone and be like, ‘Am I going to be on TMZ today?” she continued. “Am I going to be here, am I going to be there?’
“That was the worst part. I was constantly stressed out that someone was going to see it and someone was going to get it and that it was going to get out.
“Also, that was one picture. I don’t know what else he had or what he was going to release. If he did it once, he could do it again and again and again.”
Thankfully Spiranac managed to persevere and become one of the most influential sports media personalities in the world today. Whether she is getting brutally honest about her divorce or going shirtless for major golf events – she is always going viral these days.
