NFL Fans React To Viral Pam Oliver Photo

Pam Oliver is widely regarded as one of the best broadcasters in the NFL today.

Whenever the football season takes place, she often goes viral for her excellent coverage and unique way of talking about the sport.

While Oliver’s personal life doesn’t blow up the way someone like Erin Andrews’ does, as evidenced by the latter’s vacation photos setting the internet ablaze this week, she is every bit as respected.

This week, Oliver found herself trending once again – this time for a viral photo showcasing that she had just won a very prestigious award.

“Pam Oliver, an award-winning sports reporter [and] trailblazing member of Fox Sports’ NFL team, is AWSM’s 2023 recipient of the Mary Garber Pioneer Award,” the caption read.

“Oliver is the longest tenured NFL sideline reporter, working more than 500 games. The Pioneer Award has been given annually since 1999 to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the sports media field while reflecting and advancing the values and mission of AWSM. The award was named in 2006 for Mary Garber.”

NFL fans were thrilled to hear the news.

They immediately took to social media to offer their reactions to Oliver getting her flowers.

“A tremendous reporter – a tremendous person – and a tremendous choice for this award – to state the obvious, this is well earned and well deserved – love everything about this,” one NFL fan wrote.

“Congratulations! Representing true report and character,” another agreed.

Oliver has obviously been in the news quite a bit as of late. Her outfit at one point during the NFL playoffs caused something of a stir, as did what some perceived to be as ‘odd’ behavior by her during another game.

Nevertheless, it’s great to see her getting acknowledged and commemorated in this particular fashion.

By any objective measure, 2022 was a great year for Oliver.

What will 2023 ultimately hold for her?

Time will tell.
