Vikings Issue Unfortunate Adam Thielen Injury Update
The Vikings issued an unfortunate Adam Thielen injury update on Wednesday.
This past weekend Minnesota stunned the New Orleans Saints in the opening round of the playoffs.
Thielen was absolutely essential in the effort, with seven receptions for 129 yards. Beyond that, his 43-yard catch in overtime set up the game-winning touchdown from quarterback Kirk Cousins to tight end Kyle Rudolph.
Unfortunately, the Vikings may be without him come their next game.

According to NFL.com, Thielen suffered an ankle injury in practice and has been limited as a result. It remains to be seen if he will be able to play through it this weekend. If he does end up playing through it, it is impossible to predict how much the injury will impact him.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs also missed an entire practice this week, but his status for the looming San Francisco 49ers game does not appear to be in question.
The Vikings will take on San Francisco on Saturday, at 4:35 p.m. PST. They will need Thielen at or near full strength to pull off another memorable upset.
