Sam Howell’s Girlfriend’s Outfit To Commanders vs Bears Goes Viral
Sam Howell’s girlfriend, Chloe Barbu, saw her outfit go viral on Thursday night as her beau’s Washington Commanders fell in embarrassing fashion to the hapless Chicago Bears.
Coming into the first game of Week 5, Howell and Co. were favored over Chicago by as much as a touchdown. And it made sense. The latter squad was winless so far this season, whereas the former had just dragged the Philadelphia Eagles into deep waters one game prior.
Unfortunately, the Commanders looked rough on Thursday night. When it was all said and done, they lost the game by 20 points.
Although Howell got outplayed by Justin Fields on Thursday night, his girlfriend had a stellar evening. Her outfit to the game went mega-viral in the aftermath.
Given that Fields’ girlfriend’s wild photos set the internet ablaze earlier the same day, it is telling that Barbu was able to swoop in and steal the headlines in this fashion.
Then again, her social media posts have traditionally done very well. So maybe her popularity on Thursday night actually isn’t all that surprising.

Big picture, it will be interesting to see how Howell and the Commanders bounce back from this.
Getting walloped by 20 isn’t ideal, but extenuating circumstances are at play. Washington is coming off less rest and had just gone to war against Philly.

Howell, for his part, still finished with 388 yards and two touchdowns on 37-of-51 passing – even if he did throw one interception.
Next week’s battle against the Atlanta Falcons will be telling.
If the Commanders can bounce back strong, then this season is still salvageable. If not, Howell and his girlfriend may be on the verge of a very tough year.
