Jackson Mahomes’ Actions During Chiefs Parade Shooting Go Viral
Patrick Mahomes’ brother, Jackson Mahomes, is no stranger to making headlines.
In the last few weeks alone he has gone viral for Taylor Swift being revolted by him, his beef with Brittany Mahomes and Jason Kelce being disgusted by his presence.
The common denominator each time in all of those cases has been that Jackson found himself trending for something negative.
That changed on Wednesday.
On the same day the Kansas City Chiefs held their Super Bowl parade, a shooting broke out at the event.
Jackson’s heroic actions at the scene of the crime went viral in the aftermath:
People had some strong reactions to news of what Jackson did at the event:

You were hiding out with Jackson Mahomes during a crisis situation and he was helping to care for a child?! That is so unexpected and heartwarming. It goes to show that even people with a reputation for being a certain way can surprise us with their actions.

Big picture, in a week dominated by Travis Kelce being called out for having a small package, Taylor Swift’s wardrobe malfunction and the Travis Kelce drug video, the shooting at the Chiefs’ parade really puts things in perspective.
It really reminds one and all what is important in life.

Will Jackson Mahomes ultimately get the credit he deserves for what transpired on Wednesday? Time will tell.
