Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader’s Wild Photos Cause A Stir

Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader’s Wild Photos Cause A Stir

The Indianapolis Colts had an extremely disappointing 2022-23 NFL campaign, but in many ways that is what allowed them to hit “reset” on the franchise.

Frank Reich was fired midway through his fifth season with the organization and temporarily replaced by Jeff Saturday.

The latter led the Colts on an interim basis, before Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen was hired to serve as head coach on a permanent basis.

With the head coaching position filled, Indy set its sights on finding its new franchise quarterback. After much posturing, the Colts spent the fourth pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Florida phenom Anthony Richardson.

Richardson’s first pass as a member of the team went mega-viral not long ago. Time will tell if he can live up to the lofty expectations set for him, but one group who did just that last year was the Colts cheerleading squad.

Despite not having a ton to cheer for in 2022-23, this group consistently delivered.

One Colts cheerleader in particular, MacLaine, caused something of a stir this week with her wild photos.

Obviously this isn’t the first time in recent weeks that an NFL dancer has blown up online in this fashion. A Washington Commanders cheerleader’s provocative photos set the internet ablaze a few days back, as did a Houston Texans cheerleader’s racy pictures.

That aside, it will be interesting to see how Indianapolis fares in 2023-24. The talk around Richardson pre-draft was that he was immensely talented, but also really raw. He has a high ceiling, but also isn’t necessarily ready to step in and take over an offense.

Everything coming out of the Colts’ training camp seems to be saying something different, though. It genuinely feels like the front office wants him to start ASAP.

Obviously the hope is that Steichen will be able to work his voodoo on Richardson in the same way he did with Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts, but a lot will depend on the offensive line.

There’s a reason Jonathan Taylor took such step back last year – the protection was awful.

And it doesn’t help matters that Indy’s receiving group is terrible, too.

All of that culminated in the Colts ranking 30th in scoring and 27th in yardage last season.

It will also be interesting to see how this group does defensively. A lot will depend on what version of Shaq Leonard returns. His absence last season led to the Colts ranking 28th in points allowed.

Losing Stephon Gilmore and Bobby Okereke certainly stings, but it’s something that can be overcome if Leonard stays healthy and plays up to his full potential.

Big picture, there are some things to get excited about in Indianapolis – but all signs point to this group being bad in 2023-24.

On paper the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans both boast considerably better squads. That leaves the Houston Texans and Colts to battle it out for the bottom of the AFC South.

Can Indy at least do enough to stay out of fourth place in the division next season? Time will tell, but either way the Colts cheerleaders will be there rooting them on every step of the way.
