Houston Texans Cheerleader’s Wild Vacation Photos Cause A Stir
The Houston Texans are heading into the 2023-24 NFL season hoping to reverse the fortunes that ultimately resulted in them picking second overall in this year’s draft.
Now that the organization theoretically has its franchise quarterback in C.J. Stroud and its defensive mastermind in head coach DeMeco Ryans, the rebuild is officially on.
Last season the Texans struggled on both sides of the ball, but one unit that consistently showed up and performed at a high level was the squad’s cheerleading group. Because of that, some of the dancers amassed major social media followings.
This week one Texans cheerleader in particular, Rachel, caused something of a stir with her wild vacation photos.

This isn’t the first time in recent months that Rachel has blown up in this fashion. Her other pictures have been a huge hit, too.

It’s worth noting that in recent days a Minnesota Vikings cheerleader’s wild photos and a Detroit Lions cheerleader’s provocative pictures have set the internet ablaze as well. It has just been that kind of offseason for the NFL.
Cheerleading aside, though – this is going to be a crucial year for Houston. Nobody is expecting a ton from Stroud given the offensive weapons he has been handed, but he should at least be able to surpass the meager bar that Davis Mills set.
If Nico Collins can take advantage of Brandin Cooks’ departure and actually do something of note, his potential breakout would be huge for Stroud’s development.
Still, the offense has a low ceiling in 2023-24. Where things are really going to get interesting for the Texans is defensively. Alabama’s Will Anderson Jr. is coming in with a lot of hype. Whether he will deliver on it remains to be seen.
Jimmie Ward is also going to be a huge component of the defense this season. His leadership will be huge in getting everyone on the same page, and his on-the-field impact on the secondary can’t be overstated.
Ryans’ bread and butter is his defensive scheming, so it will be fascinating to see what he can make out of this group when it’s all said and done.

At the end of the day, the Texans have some interesting pieces to work with – but this is still a group that has a six-win ceiling in 2023-24.
Considering they’ve won just 11 games over the past three years, though, six victories would actually be a good building block campaign.
Will Houston be able to take a step forward towards respectability in 2023-24? Time will tell, but the Texans’ cheerleaders will be there rooting their team on every step of the way.
