Brittany Mahomes’ outfit to the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars went viral on Sunday.

Coming into this weekend, many were excited to see two of the league’s best natural passers, Patrick Mahomes and Trevor Lawrence, square off.

Because the outing didn’t quite prove to be the barnburner fans hoped it would, some minor side plots ultimately ended up blowing up online as it went on.

Chief among them: Brittany’s outfit to her beau’s game.

Fans had some strong reactions to Brittany’s outfit choice. And they weren’t shy about sharing their thoughts.

“Love the shorts. So cute,” one person wrote.

“Obsessed with the shorts. So cute,” another agreed.

“Could you be any cuter? I love this fit,” a third fan chimed in.

Safe to say Brittany’s outfit choice was a hit.

Be it for her wild boat party photos, provocative workout pictures or racy party bus snaps, Brittany has little trouble making headlines nowadays. She is just that level of celebrity.

In a weekend of football that saw Brian Kelly’s daughter go viral over her outfit choice to an LSU game, a Florida State cheerleader’s racy photos leak out and Ciara’s intimate pictures with Russell Wilson blow up online, it is telling that Brittany was able to swoop in and steal the headlines in this particular fashion.

Brittany aside, as things presently stand, Kansas City is 1-1 on the year with games against the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos (twice) and Los Angeles Chargers on the books.

Despite Patrick not having anyone to throw to this season, there is a feasible scenario where the Chiefs still start the year 7-1 after eight games. At that point, the team doesn’t face its first real test until the Miami Dolphins come to town Nov. 5.

It will be tough to beat Tua Tagovailoa’s high-flying offense scoring only 17 points, as the New England Patriots just learned the hard way on Sunday Night Football, but that is a bridge Kansas City can cross when the time comes.

This will be an interesting campaign for all parties involved. At the moment, despite having Patrick, the Chiefs look a little more offensively inept than fans are used to seeing them.

How will that impact their Super Bowl-defending aspirations? Time will tell.

Either way, no matter if Patrick has someone to throw to or not, Brittany will be there cheering him on every step of the way.
