Marshawn Lynch Returning To Seahawks
Marshawn Lynch is returning to the Seahawks this week.
Coming out of Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle somehow found itself even more shorthanded than it was going in.
A year marred by injuries on both sides of the ball took a turn for the worse this weekend when Pete Carroll’s group lost not one but two running backs: Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise.
That came on the heels of Rashaad Penny already being out for the year.
Meanwhile, despite all these injuries, the Seahawks still somehow found themselves in the thick of the NFC West race.
Next week, Seattle will face off against the San Francisco 49ers for the divisional crown.
So what will Seattle do at running back? Well, sometime to go forward you need to take a step back.

According to Ian Rapaport of the NFL Network, the Seahawks are bringing in Lynch this week to discuss a possible return to the field.
“The Seahawks have a loooong history with Marshawn Lynch, but the organization and BeastMode have always maintained a great relationship,” he tweeted out.
“That helps in times like this.”
Even if the 34-year-old does opt to return to Seattle, it will likely be on a limited basis. Although though he was inarguably unstoppable in his prime, he has obviously slowed down with age.
Lynch will not be able to fully plug the hole that Seattle now has at running back, but he would certainly be help.
