Denver Broncos Make Sudden Coaching Change
The Denver Broncos made a sudden coaching change recently.
The Broncos are hiring former New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Shula as the organization’s new quarterbacks coach.
Denver recently signed Pat Shurmur from the New York Giants to serve as the team’s offensive coordinator, so it appears someone in management really liked what the Giants were doing offensively at one point.
Shula reportedly also interviewed for the Giants’ offensive coordinator role, but it ultimately ended up going to former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.
While with New York, Shula and Shurmur were said to occasionally butt heads. It will be interesting to see how that relationship carries over to Denver.

People within the Broncos are very excited about their young quarterback, Drew Lock, so in a lot of ways Shula is essentially getting the keys to that shiny new car.
This past season the Broncos went 7-9. It will be interesting to see if the new coaching changes will in any way improve that record heading into next year.
