Chiefs vs Titans TV Ratings Announced

The Chiefs vs Titans TV ratings were announced on Monday morning.

Many were interested to see whether the rising star of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes would be enough to compensate for lack of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

It was not.

According to CBS statistics, 41.1 million peopled tuned into the AFC Championship Game. That number is down from the 54 million that turned in to watch the Chiefs take on the Patriots in 2019.

It was not quite entirely an apples to apples comparison, though.

The Chiefs-Patriots game from last year was an afternoon game whereas the Chiefs-Titans showdown from yesterday was the early game.

That said, CBS is likely disappointed by the reduction in ratings.

Mahomes and Kansas City ultimately prevailed in a fun outing this weekend, ultimately winning the game 35-24.

The victory marked the Chiefs’ first conference title since 1969.

Next up for a Kansas City is Super Bowl LIV on February 2. There the Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers, who on Sunday defeated the Green Bay Packers to win the NFC Conference Championship.
