Buccaneers Working Hard To Sign Tom Brady Sign Tom Brady
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are working hard to sign Tom Brady, it would appear.
In roughly one week, Brady will officially become an unrestricted free agent. Just like that, the biggest available name on the market will commence with the search for his next home.
To date, the future Hall of Famer has been linked to the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers.
One interesting candidate that has emerged in recent weeks that was not previously considered is Tampa Bay.
According to ESPN NFL insider Dianna Russini, the Buccaneers would “love to have” Brady.
“I talked to Tampa Bay,” he said.
“They would love to have Tom Brady. They’re willing to give Tom Brady the things he needs, he wants.
“Some of those things he wants — control over roster, he wants to be part of making decisions on the play-calling … If [Brady] wants control, Bruce Arians is a guy he should match up with.”

Brady’s 2019 season was not one of his best. Besides just having an underwhelming statistical year, he also ended up coming up short in the AFC Wild Card Game against the Tennessee Titans.
The New England Patriots’ season literally ended when Brady threw a game-ending pick.
Will Brady ultimately land in Tampa Bay this offseason? Given the other options on the table, it is hard to see that as a legitimate viable option.
That said, in the NFL – anything can happen.
