This past Sunday the Green Bay Packers defeated the Baltimore Ravens 31-30.
In the process, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and amassed 268 yards on 23 of 31 passing.
While Green Bay’s victory on the day was particularly meaningful because it secured the NFC North crown, it was also special for one other reason.
With the score sitting at 21-17 and just under 13 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Rodgers threw his 442nd career touchdown pass – pulling him even with Brett Favre for the franchise record.

On Monday, Favre addressed the milestone during an interview.
“Probably, the best playmaker that I think we have ever seen.”

“Aaron’s going to shatter every record out there if he continues to play. He’s better now than he’s ever been and shows no signs of slowing down…” Favre said on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
“Whether he goes to another team or not, he’s gonna make whoever he plays with so much better. He’s just a prolific playmaker. Probably, the best playmaker that I think we have ever seen.”
Rodgers has thrown for 13 touchdowns without a pick over the last four games. His Packers, as a result, seem primed and ready to make some serious noise in the playoffs.
Obviously this has been a tumultuous season for Rodgers off the field. Between his weird dynamic with Shailene Woodley and all the COVID stuff, it has been one headache after another.

That said, on the field everything is clicking perfectly for the reigning league MVP.
Will the 2021-22 NFL season end with another Rodgers Super Bowl title? Time will tell.
