Antonio Brown Joining Tom Brady With LA Chargers?
Is Antonio Brown joining Tom Brady with the LA Chargers?
The New England Patriots’ season came to a disappointing conclusion on Saturday with a 20-13 defeat in the AFC Wild Card round.
Following the game, Brady would not comment on where he planned to play in 2020 – just that he had no plans to retire.
For several months now Brady has been linked to the Chargers. This is due in part to him actively selling his Massachusetts home and his expressed desire to work in entertainment once his playing career is over.
A lot of people view LeBron James’ transition to the LA Lakers as a blueprint of sorts for Brady.
The Chargers, meanwhile, seem ready to part ways with the quarterback that has been synonymous with their franchise over the past decade in Philip Rivers.
Rivers has not warmed up to Los Angeles, and the team’s inability to gain the public’s interest in the city has made the need for a big name star like Brady all the more pressing.
Following the Patriots’ game on Saturday, Brown expressed an interest in linking up with Brady next season.

Brown played for New England in Week 2 before being accused of sexual assault. He was promptly dropped by the team, and has not participated in an NFL game since.
Still, the assumption around the league is that Brown will ultimately be cleared to return at some point in 2020.
If that does end up happening, a reunion between Brady and Brown in Los Angeles would make a lot of sense for all involved.
