Andy Dalton To Jaguars, Jameis Winston To Steelers?
Is Andy Dalton heading to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Jameis Winston to the Pittsburgh Steelers? Things are trending that way.
Winston is presently looking for a new home after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team that originally drafted him, signed Tom Brady to a two-year contract this past week.
According to Marc Sessler of the NFL Network, Pittsburgh is “an intriguing backup spot” for Winston.
Agree with those suggesting the #Steelers as an intriguing backup spot for JAMEIS WINSTON.
I’d pick the #Jaguars for ANDY DALTON — who could wind up starting games for a team prepping for a long autumn.

On paper, it makes sense. The Steelers’ current starter, Ben Roethlisberger, is nearing the end of his career. Even if he does get healthy enough to play a full year this season, he does not have many more high-level campaigns left in him.
Winston could be an interesting heir apparent.
That was not Sessler’s only idea, though. He also envisions Dalton landing with the Jaguars.
“I’d pick the #Jaguars for ANDY DALTON — who could wind up starting games for a team prepping for a long autumn,” he tweeted.
Gardner Minshew has been guaranteed the starting job, but Jacksonville’s decision to trade away Nick Foles to the Chicago Bears has left them without a backup. Dalton could fill that spot.
