NFL Legend Explains Why Colin Kaepernick Workout Was A Farce

NFL legend Hue Jackson explains why the Colin Kaepernick workout was a farce in a recent interview.

Jackson, 54, is widely regarded as one of the worst head coaches of all time.

Over the course of two and a half seasons of leading the Cleveland Browns he amassed a record of 3-36-1. Under his watch, the 2017 team won precisely 0 games.

Jackson’s 7.5 percent winning percentage is the worst record that a head coach has recorded while coaching an NFL team for at least 40 games.

Somehow, despite this track record, the NFL deemed it appropriate to have him run the workout for Kaepernick last Saturday.

When Kaepernick suddenly decided to change the venue on Saturday from the Atlanta Falcons’ stadium to a location 60 miles away, Jackson opted not to attend.

After catching heat for his decision not to participate, Jackson offered his side of things to Fox Sports’ Kristine Leahy.

“I made a decision that the best thing for me to do was get on a plane and go home,” Jackson told Leahy.

“To me I think if I went over to the high school and did that, I think I would have been doing that for him more so than for the league.”

Did Jackson ultimately make the right call? That is up for each individual to decide on their own.
