Urban Meyer took a shot at Penn State before the Ohio State game.

This biggest game of the looming college football weekend is undoubtedly Saturdays showdown between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 8 Penn State.

If the Buckeyes will, they will likely claim the No. 1 ranking in the country from LSU and become the favorite to win the national title.

If the Nittany Lions win, it will eliminate Ohio State from postseason contention and give them their biggest win of the year.

Heading into the big game, Meyer did a quick preview of what is set to come.

During that preview, he was asked about the rivalry that exists between Ohio State and Penn State.

That is when he decided to take a little dig at the Nittany Lions.

“The Penn State-Ohio State rivalry is one that, for the last seven years that I’ve been around has been extremely intense,” he said.

“Even though it’s not our (Ohio State’s) rivalry, it’s – from everything I understand – we’ve become their rival.

“Great programs, especially the last two years and this will be the third-straight year that it’s top-10 teams.”

There is nothing worse than someone telling you that you’re their rival, but that they are not good enough to be yours.
