Nebraska Pole Vaulter Jess Gardner’s Wild Workout Video Goes Viral
Nebraska pole vaulter Jess Gardner’s wild workout video went viral this past week.
Amid something of an underwhelming month for the Huskers’ sports program, what with the football team disappointing in consecutive outings, Gardner stands alone as one of the few bright spots for Nebraska.
Coming into this college football season, the hope was that Matt Rhule would be able to pump fresh life into the program. He hasn’t. After a 13-10 loss to Minnesota in Week 1 and a 36-14 defeat to Colorado in Week 2, it’s clear that this is going to be a long year for the Huskers.
On the bright side, while the football team still isn’t good, the school has never received more attention for its pole vaulting stars.
Gardner, specifically, is one of the biggest collegiate names in the nation right now.
This past week, Gardner’s wild workout video caused something of a stir.

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks Gardner has blown up in this fashion. Between her provocative vacation photos and general social media presence, the 22-year-old’s celebrity knows no bounds.

Aside from that Nebraska cheerleader whose racy photos went viral last week, it is hard to think of a bigger star within the Huskers’ sports program than Gardner at the moment.
Maybe at some point Rhule will right the ship and make the football program relevant again, but it seems like that is still pretty far away from happening.

In the meantime, the school’s other sports stars will need to step in and pick up the slack.
