Nebraska Pole Vaulter Jess Gardner's Wild Going Out Photos Go Viral
Nebraska pole vaulter Jess Gardner’s wild going out photos went viral this week.
Coming into the 2023 college football season, many hoped that Matt Rhule would be able to turn the Huskers’ fortunes around and return them to some semblance of sports relevancy.
With the team sitting at 2-2 after four weeks, it is safe to now say that won’t happen this year.
Fortunately for Nebraska, some of the other athletes at the school have taken the baton from the football program and run with it. Gardner, a star pole vaulter for the Huskers, is a perfect example.
Over the past year Gardner has amassed a major following on social media. Not only are her fans deeply impressed with her athletic prowess, but also her knack for understanding what works online.
This week, Gardner went viral over her wild going out photos.

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks Gardner has blown up in this fashion. Between her provocative workout video and her racy shower video, she has been a permanent fixture in the news cycle.
In a college sports week that saw LSU’s Olivia Dunne blow up online for everything ranging from her outfit to the Arkansas game to her memorable dance video in her pajamas, it is telling that Gardner could swoop in and steal the headlines in this fashion.
She is just that level of celebrity at this point.
Pretty much anything Gardner posts to social media nowadays causes a stir.

Big picture, obviously Nebraska needs athletes to cheer for.
The Huskers’ football team used to be a unifying squad that everyone at the school could get behind – but those days appear to be long gone.

Rhule, thus far, hasn’t been able to remedy the problem.
What does that mean in a macro sense? It means that alternative-sport athletes at Nebraska, like Gardner, will continue to shine while the football team attempts to get its act together over the next few years.
