Janel Grant, Triple H Video Sparks Controversy Amid WWE Lawsuit

Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon and her former employers, the WWE, last week.

In it, she claimed that she was abused and trafficked by the former WWE boss and his employees.

Over the course of subsequent days multiple troubling photos involving her and McMahon emerged, as did a disturbing video involving Brock Lesnar.

This week, Triple H – the de facto public face of the WWE – got roped into the sordid matter.

Following the 2024 Royal Rumble, Triple H was asked about Grant’s allegations against the WWE. In a somewhat controversial video, the new Dana White of pro wrestling attempted to deflect the seriousness of the matter.

“I choose to focus on the positive,” he said. “And yes, there’s a negative, but I want to focus on [the positives] and keep it to that.”

Triple H then doubled down when asked the same sort of question again.

“I don’t even want to get bugged down in the negatives, just want to focus on the positives,” he said.

Needless to say, some were left less than satisfied with Triple H’s way of addressing the situation.

The WWE might be trying to turn the page on Grant’s lawsuit, but it will be hard to do.

Primarily because the details involving it are just so awful.

And everyone who tries to sweep it under the rug will come out looking worse as a result.

Will Triple H provide a better answer regarding Grant’s lawsuit the next time it comes up? Time will tell.
