New Video Shows Aaron Donald Was Actually Hero In Fight (Video)

A newly surfaced video has completely reshaped the narrative surrounding the allegations made against Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

Earlier this week, a man by the name of De’Vincent Spriggs claimed that Donald and others physically assaulted him outside of a Pittsburgh-area nightclub.

Spriggs reportedly needed 16 stitches and suffered a broken orbital bone, a broken nose, a concussion and a sprained or broken arm.

The allegations sounded bad for Donald.

Everything changed on Friday, however, when a new video surfaced.

In the video, Donald appears to be the hero of the encounter.

“As he ducks, somebody from behind grabs him to stop him from interacting from this guy, Mr. Spriggs, so he holds Aaron back in a sense,” Donald’s attorney, Casey White, said in a statement to ESPN.

“At that point, that’s when other people come to Aaron’s aid and defend him by removing, so to speak, Mr. Spriggs from the area where he is punched and he is fighting; it’s a mutual fight at this point between other individuals who Aaron does not really know.”

This has been a rough year for the NFL. One of its star players is accused of 20+ cases of sexual assault. Another violently beat up his girlfriend in a rage.

The fact that this Donald situation is not what it originally appeared to be is no doubt a welcome surprise for both the league and its fans.
