Why Chris Paul Never Joined The Miami Heat
Chris Paul never joined the Miami Heat for an obvious reason.
Paul and Wade sat down together for a chat on Instagram this week and a funny story emerged. Apparently one big hang-up for the whole thing was who would get to wear the number three.

“Why would I do that?” Wade said.
“That was my team. I couldn’t give up number three. It was going to get retired there one day. I knew I couldn’t do that. … CP didn’t come to Miami because we couldn’t come to agreement on the number.”
Would Paul and Wade have been able to team up for a championship.
