Watch: Alex Caruso Proves He Is The Best Lakers Teammate

The Los Angeles Lakers’ 2020-21 season has been something of a mixed bag so far.

On the positive side of things, they’ve largely played excellent basketball and are arguably the best squad in the NBA. Conversely, on the negative, the team has had to deal with an ominous threat from an insane fan and wild conspiracy theories from retired players.

This week, a bright shining light of hope beamed through the sky onto the Lakers’ season in the form of Alex Caruso.

In one singular moment, he reminded one and all why he is the best teammate anyone could ask for.

During the Lakers’ 101-90 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, Montrezl Harrell fell hard to the floor during one particular sequence. Caruso, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Wesley Matthews all immediately rushed over to pick him up.

As Harrell got up, Horton-Tucker tried to give Harrell a high-five. Sadly, last year’s Sixth Man of the Year seemingly didn’t notice Horton-Tucker, ultimately leaving him hanging.

That is when Caruso swooped in to save the day.

Although Caruso finished with just three points, one rebound, and two assists in 18 minutes of action against Chicago, his decision to support a teammate in that moment of need will forever live on in infamy.
