Tomi Lahren Mocks WNBA National Anthem Protest
Tomi Lahren mocked the WNBA National Anthem protest this week, noting that the league does not have enough fans for anyone to notice its actions.
In a tweet sent out Sunday, Lahren made fun of the WNBA’s decision not to stand for the National Anthem as a protest against racial injustice in the United States. She said that the gesture fell on deaf ears, namely because nobody cared enough women’s basketball to see it.

Last week, several WNBA organizations walked off the floor before the National Anthem could commence in a sign of solidarity with people protesting racial injustice in America.
Phoenix Mercury stars Brittney Griner and Brianna Turner, specifically, suggested that the protests would continue all season.
Needless to say, many fans were unhappy with the decision and were very vocal regarding their displeasure on social media. Lahren was one of them.
It remains to be seen if players will truly continue with their National Anthem protest all season long, or if it will slowly die down as people stop paying attention to the gesture over the next few weeks and months.
