Steve Kerr Gets Brutally Honest About Warriors Starting Lineup
The Golden State Warriors are preparing to embark on their first Klay
Thompson-less season in a long time.
Because of that, the roster is in a state of flux.
Currently, head coach Steve Kerr is trying to figure out the right starting lineup.
This week, he offered a glimpse into what he is thinking about.
“I have a sense of what I’m going to do but this is the most difficult decision-making I’ve ever had since I’ve been here in terms of who’s playing off the bench,” Kerr said.

“Like I’ve been saying, I’m comfortable playing every single guy in the rotation, and I can’t do that. I’m excited but I’m also not going to feel great on Wednesday when I leave a couple of guys out.”
Kerr also noted that he is carefully considering which lineup gives him the best defensive rotation.
“We have to be much sounder defensively,” he continued.
“We’ve got to continue to work on coverages on certain actions, that we’re going to see consistently. And we’ve got to continue to learn some of the new offensive things that we’re putting in.”
Who will ultimately land in the Warriors’ starting lineup when everything is said and done? Time will tell.
