Shaq Responds To Kendrick Perkins Saying He Doesn’t Watch Basketball

Kendrick Perkins has emerged in recent years as one of the most notable and polarizing basketball analysts at ESPN.

His propensity for landing in the headlines, both for good and bad reasons, is truly impressive.

Perkins never seemed to have a ton of personality as a player, but as an analyst – he is thriving.

This past week Perkins appeared on “The Michael Kay Show” and called out both Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley for their recent comments about the New York Knicks.

“Obviously they don’t watch basketball,” Perkins said.

“I’m serious, they can’t watch basketball on a consistent basis. The only time they actually probably watch the Knicks is when they’re covering the Knicks on their game nights. If you’re watching the New York Knicks, there’s no way in hell that you can just downplay the way they’ve been playing the game of basketball.”

Shaq, as is in his nature, decided to fire back this week.

“Can a non hall of famer speak on two hall of famers just asking,” O’Neal posted.

Clearly this won’t be the last salvo fired in the war of words between these two big men.

How will Perkins opt to respond to Shaq? Time will tell.
