Other Clippers Players Hate Kawhi Leonard, Paul George
Other Clippers players hate Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, it appears.
Last season Los Angeles was a spunky underdog where everyone on the roster played hard because they had to. The team did not have any big names, so the load was spread fairly among everyone.
As a result of that joint work effort, the Clippers won 48 games, earned a playoff spot and stole two wins from the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the postseason.
The Warriors went on to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.
During the summer, LA went out and acquired two superstars in Leonard and George.
Although both guys instantly turned the franchise into a championship contender, their addition brought some unexpected drama.
On Thursday, Sam Amick and Jovan Buha of The Athletic published a story in which they noted that some players are reportedly unhappy with the preferential treatment Leonard and George get.
It takes time to tango: our @jovanbuha & @sam_amick take a deep dive into how the Clippers, in fits and starts, are integrating the talent-and, organizational lean-toward Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. In @TheAthleticNBA: https://t.co/fwrdjdbNdC

“Off the court, sources say there are some teammates who have struggled with the organization’s preferential treatment that is afforded to Leonard and George,” the article notes.
It appears the primary issue is how much less Leonard and George are required to play and practice due to “load management.”
Whereas regular players are expected to power through their health issues, Leonard and George get breaks whenever they need them.
It is certainly an interesting new dynamic for head coach Doc Rivers to have to deal with, that is for sure.
The Clippers are currently 31-14 through 45 outings and sit in third place in the Western Conference.

This is a waste of time. Try writing a real article rather than click-bait garbage
Agreed. This article is def click-bait.. A far stretch to go
from some player being unhappy ( which has unnamed sources) to
