Lakers Officially Put 2 Players On Trade Block

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to make some big changes ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline.

In recent days the team has been linked to several notable moves. They are in the hunt for Kyle Kuzma, though the Washington Wizards’ asking price might be too hefty.

They are also one of three teams being linked to a potential deal for Jimmy Butler.

And then earlier this week, the Lakers’ trade offer for Jonas Valanciunas leaked out.

Regardless of who they ultimately do or don’t acquire, L.A. has made it clear that two players have officially been placed on the trade block.

“The Lakers are one of the most active teams in early trade discussions around the NBA,” Forbes’ Evan Sidery wrote reported this week.

“Los Angeles has dangled the expiring contracts of D’Angelo Russell and Jalen Hood-Schifino in exploratory talks. Keep an eye on Los Angeles between now and February’s deadline-making moves.”

It will be interesting to see what the Lakers can ultimately accomplish ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline.

Will either Russell or Hood-Schifino ultimately get dealt when everything is said and done? Time will tell.
