The Golden State Warriors picked up their most recent loss of the season on Saturday in a 129-118 defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks.
There wasn’t much to get excited about after this outing from the Warriors’ side, aside from another stellar performance from Jonathan Kuminga.
The 21-year-old put up 28 points in 30 minutes of action.
After the game, Klay Thompson got brutally honest about Kuminga’s caliber of play these days.
“You forget how young he is. He’s gonna be a star one day.”

“JK has gotten so much better with his pace and he’s ability to rise up over defense, in mid-range, especially,” Thompson said.
“His 3-point shooting has been much better as of late and his ability to get to the rim is one of the best on the team. You forget how young he is. He’s gonna be a star one day.”
It is no secret at this point that Kuminga is the Warriors’ most valuable trade asset. He has been linked to one deal in particular over the past few weeks.
That being said – Golden State has maintained that trading Kuminga isn’t something the organization wants to do.
He is one of three players that has been designated as “off limits” in any potential deal.
Something is going to have to give, though. Clearly Stephen Curry is at his wits end, given that he is publicly begging the Warriors to make a big trade before the deadline.

It will be difficult for Golden State to get anything done if they don’t include their best trade asset.
Will Kuminga and the Warriors go their separate ways ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline? Time will tell.
