In the deal, Nikola Vucevic would be sent to the Warriors. In return, Golden State would receive De’Anthony Melton, Gary Payton II, a 2026 Second-Rounder, and 2029 Second-Rounder.
Vucevic is averaging 20.9 points and 10.0 rebounds this season and would fit seamlessly into the Warriors’ current starting lineup.
Chicago, meanwhile, would get a lot of draft capital and role players to commence fully with a rebuild.
This could be a solid win-win for all sides.
