Shaq Names Most Overrated Team In NBA Right Now
Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest NBA players of all time.
Because of his status in basketball lore, Shaq’s opinion matters.
A lot.
This week, during his podcast with Adam Lefkoe, Shaq was asked to name the most overrated team in the NBA.
Shaq didn’t even hesitate.
“Boston,” he replied.
Lefkoe then pointed out that the Celtics had the league’s best record, but Shaq still wasn’t impressed.

“Yeah, but you gotta show me,” O’Neal said. “I’ve been around this league a long time, I’ve seen a lot of guys who have had a great regular season, but they don’t win championships.”
Shaq was then asked what the Celtics would have to do in order to get to that next level as a ballclub.
“Consistency and dominate consistently. Got to do more, every game,” he replied. “Every game you got to go to another level. And then you need optional others to have out-of-worldly games.”
The Celtics are currently 62-17, but obviously that doesn’t matter to Shaq.
He wants to see them perform at the next level.
Will Boston be able to silence haters like Shaq once and for all this season? Time will tell.
