Paul Pierce Calls Out Clippers, Reveals Their Real Leader
Paul Pierce isn’t overly impressed with the Los Angeles Clippers these days.
Last week, the Hall of Famer came out and aggressively lambasted James Harden and Kawhi Leonard over their various flaws.
This week Pierce took aim at L.A. again – this time over their lack of leadership.
In the process, Pierce identified who he believes is the true leader of the Clippers.
As far as Pierce is concerned, it is definitely Russell Westbrook.
“They don’t got no leadership out there right now, with Westbrook out,” Pierce said.

“People don’t understand how big Westbrook is for that team, like who’s the voice, you got leadership on the sideline, but you know you got to have leadership in that locker room, in the game, on the bench right there.”
Pierce didn’t stop there, though.
“Like Westbrook, since he went down, think about this, who’s going to say something?” he continued.
“Like I respect Kawhi, and I respect where Paul George is coming from, and then I respect Harden, but the loudest voice in that room is Westbrook.
“Because he shows the most passion, he shows the most energy… Paul George is like, ‘We ain’t playing with no hustle, we ain’t playing with no heart,’ every time we see Westbrook play, that’s what he brings.”
The Clippers are having a rough week.

Between Harden throwing a temper tantrum following their loss to the 76ers and then this clear lack of leadership on the roster, it has been one thing after another.
Will the Clippers ultimately be able to get it together ahead of the NBA playoffs commencing? Time will tell.
