NBA’s Reaction To LeBron James, Lakers Doing Weed Smoking Celebration
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Charlotte Hornets 116-105 on Thursday night.
Despite there being some controversy heading into the outing regarding comments made by LaMelo Ball on playing LeBron James – the game itself was mostly uneventful.
In fact, the most interesting thing to happen occurred in the first quarter.

Fans at home immediately picked up on what appeared to be a weed-smoking celebration on the Lakers’ sidelines.

Given the year he has had up to this point, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that James wanted to take some of the edge off.
As noted by one of the fans above, if this happened in the NFL, the league would immediately punish the offending players.
The NBA, however, has much looser regulations on this type of stuff.
Given the amount of attention the Lakers’ celebration got, though – it’ll be interesting to see how the NBA ultimately reacts to it.
